After La société du risque with artist Vasco Costa (December 2019), the second Collusion is hosting Portuguese musician Bernardo Alvares. This original collaboration between Enrico Gaido and Alvares results in an ephemeral sound installation and performance which self-referentially plays with the ritual of an art opening, focussing on the soundscape and visual framing of the forms of conviviality in these contexts.

The front of the gallery, whose covering mirror enhances the display, serves as a stage for a convivial socialization (along with the due drinks dictated by the canon). On the other side of the mirror (Lewis Carroll), the participants assume the role of an audience voyeuristically observing the arrangement of bodies self-organizing outside. The sound translation and interpretation of this spontaneous ecosystem is simultaneously transmitted inside the gallery and accompanied by a double bass solo in dialogue with this constantly changing soundscape.

If the street, more or less consciously, works as a space of both relaxation and performativity, the threshold that is crossed when entering the gallery takes us to a place of concentration, introspection, and observation of our peers.
